This May we are coming back to Europe and we couldn't be more excited to finally play this triple rescheduled tour. We hope you are well and safe in these crazy times. We wanted to give you an update on all things Pack, so we're going to do that, point form style - like at an 80's board room meeting, but with people you want to see.
1) Our album, IT WAS FUN WHILE IT LASTED, is out in the world! Also, this Friday MAY 1, BANDCAMP is once again, waiving their revenue share, so it's a good day to shop on our site and fulfill all your music, clothing and poetry needs.
2) WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP. We can't wait to play shows again and see all your amazing faces. This album is not the end...it is just the last one, for the forseeable future. We're still here and we love you.
3) We have postponed our CANADIAN dates to November, the dates are below.
4) We have postponed our USA dates in June and are working on rescheduling those shows for later this Fall.
5) We are working on rescheduling our EUROPE dates for next year.
5) If you have the time or inclination, please feel free to contact your local radio stations and request our song, GIVE UP, and then they will play it and you can hear us on the radio, which is cool, and almost like being at a show....if you use a lot of imagination.
6) We have found a way to make socially distanced videos, so keep tabs on us, because they are coming soon!
7) And finally, due to the success of our video game playing stream and our acoustic show on Twitch recently, we're going to keep on doing this crazy new way of being a band, so keep your eye out for more live streams from us. THE PACK A.D. SHARE NEW VIDEO FOR "WOKE UP WEIRD"
(Toronto, ON - September 13, 2018) - The Pack A.D.'s latest album Dollhouse takes a hard look at how we treat the earth and how climate change has really affected us. In the latest visual treatment for their single "Woke Up Weird", the band address this issue and yes, it gets weird. An evil clown with the backdrop of natural disaster, while a stoned Becky tries to come to terms with it - watch the video here.
Reflecting on the video, singer/guitarist Becky Black says "Woke up Weird is about climate change and the futility of caring about it. The video is a comment on the numbness one can start to feel from the daily barrage of very obvious indicators that we are seriously harming this planet and feeling helpless that immediate economic gain trumps the longevity of human existence."
The band is currently in the midst of their "Catch Them While You Can Tour", which has them heading across Canada and the U.S.A, These live shows are not to be missed, and it may be a while until they head back to some of these cities. See below for full tour.

The Pack A.D. are heading down to the U.S. this fall to support their latest full-length Dollhouse. The band will be doing the East Coast and after a hot minute, finally getting back down to Southern U.S.A.. See below for full list of tour dates and make your plans. When their songs kick off, you're immediately met with a one-two punch of searing guitar riffs and pulverizing drums, a signature symbiosis of raucous garage-rock that singer/guitarist Becky Black and drummer Maya Miller have perfected over the past decade. Their most recent album Dollhouse (Cadence Music) speaks to urgent thoughts on the current climate of the world. The album wastes no time addressing those issues with it's nine tracks clocking in at just under 30 minutes making it the band's most succinent album yet. The fall will also see the Pack's debut album Tintype reissued on vinyl via Mint Records on September 28. It was the mid 'aughts and this band called The Pack came out of nowhere with some dirt and booze flavoured garage rock and the world made them put "a.d." at the end of their name to signify that things would never be the same. Soon after recording their debut album, Tintype, the band went to the Mint offices with a bottle of Jack Daniels and walked out of there with a record contract. Tintype came out shortly after in the middle of a grey January in 2008. A decade later the band has played close to a thousand shows and released seven albums. Their music still feels like a cup of black coffee that you drank too fast but along the way,Tintype fell out of print. Mint Records have decided to fix that. Tintype is finally being reissued on the format it was meant to be heard... vinyl. It has it has been re-mastered and the folks at Mint dug through some dusty boxes for old flyers and photos to include in the liner notes to make it extra special and remind you of what you missed or can't remember.

RETIRE THE BAND VAN LIFESTYLE FOR ONE FINAL FULL TOUR ON WHEELS
ANNOUNCE RE-ISSUE OF TINTYPE VIA MINT RECORDS.
Toronto, ON - July 17 - The Pack A.D. are retiring the band van. This fall, the duo will embark on their “Catch Us While You Can Tour” - a final full Canadian tour from West to East on wheels.
“It's hard to believe sometimes that we've been around as long as we have and then sometimes it feels exactly that long. We've spent so much time in vans and though we will continue to play shows, it just seems like the right time to stop making the cross Canada trips. We've done it countless times and as anyone who has driven across our country knows, it is the longest drive ever. If you've ever thought, ‘I'll just catch The Pack the next time,’ this is the time to see us, because we can't guarantee that the next time will happen.”
The band will reach another milestone this fall when they play their 1000th live show. Check out a full list of tour dates below.

Mint Records is very excited to announce that we will be re-issuing the debut album of Vancouver grit-rock warriors The Pack a.d. on exclusive colour vinyl. The band originally recorded the album as their demo tape which Mint then released as their first album in 2008. Today we shared a long lost deep cut, "All Reasons", that was rescued from some dusty tapes and will be added to the digital version of the album.
